• The bishop starts on c1 and f1 for white and c8 and f8 for black (if you don't know what this means, check out the chess notation page)

• The bishop can only move diagonally; this means that whatever color it starts on, it STAYS on

• The bishop can go as far as you want diagonally as long as another one of your pieces is in the way

• The bishop can capture any opponents piece as long as it is in the bishops moving bounds (only diagonal)
